Dear student,
Get ready for a long weekend, everyone! The university will be closed from Wednesday, May 1st to Friday, May 3rd to celebrate some important public holidays:
May 1st: Labor Day – A day to honor workers and their contributions.
May 3rd: Constitution Day – Celebrating the adoption of Poland’s first constitution in 1791.
Here’s a heads-up: Since these are public holidays, most shops and institutions will also be closed during this time. This is a great opportunity to relax, catch up with friends and family, or even plan a short trip!
Planning to grab some groceries? Remember to stock up beforehand as most stores will be closed on these days. Gas stations typically remain open 24/7, so you won’t have to worry about fueling up if needed.
We’ll be back for classes as usual on Monday, May 6th. Enjoy the long weekend and stay safe!
