Shopping
As soon as you've arrived in Warsaw and moved in your new flat/dorm, it is time to think about all the basic things you will need for the months to come, like food, clothing, homeware or toiletries, and where to buy them.
Where to start?
Fear not, for we are coming to guide you through everything related to shopping - including avoiding unnecessary overpayments.
Remember that with your student ID you are eligible for various discounts in a number of shops, restaurants etc. The best idea is to always keep it with you, wherever you go.
Food
there are a number of big food chain stores in Warsaw where you can stock up on all your food items. Some of them include Tesco, Carrefour, Biedronka, Lidl, Auchan.
Homeware
You can purchase stuff like towels, bed linen, furniture etc. in IKEA, Black Red White, Tiger, Home&You.
Toiletries
you can stock up on them in your local Rossmann or SuperPharm.
Clothes
if you find yourself in one of many shopping centers in Warsaw, you won't have any problems with finding at least a couple of clothing shops. Arkadia, the biggest shoping center in Warsaw, is located near Dworzec Gdański underground station.
