The Welcome Office is a beacon of support and guidance for all those who come through the doors of our university. The mission of our international team of staff and volunteers is to facilitate a seamless transition for newcomers and visitors into the life of our academic community. Beyond the initial welcome, our office strives to foster lasting connections that empower individuals to thrive throughout their university journey.

How do we work?

We deal with each student’s concerns on an individual basis.

The Welcome Office provides timely assistance with questions about programmes, campus directions and more, ensuring a smooth transition through clear communication.

We organise a variety of integration events to ensure that students are informed before the start of the academic year.

We empower new students by providing essential information, resources and confidence through orientation programmes, ensuring a seamless integration into campus life.

Embracing diversity, the Welcome Office promotes cultural exchange and fosters unity within our diverse university community.

As the Welcome Office, we are always happy to help our students. You can contact us by email or telephone from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or visit us on the sixth floor in room 601. "You will never walk alone!"

Hello!

My name is Viktoriia Malysh and I am a coordinator of the Welcome Office program.

Why did I decide to become a part of this program?

I am a foreign person here .That is why, I understand the difficulties which are challenged the other people during their first travel to the foreign country. Besides, I know the difficulty in realization yourself in a new place.

My activity had begun in the middle school in Ukraine together with the political club. Volunteering in Canada helped me to find new friends in YMCA who showed me that there are a lot of kind and sincere people. Consequently, I understood that it would be a great opportunity for me to be a part of open community. America opened me the tolerant and multinational world. As a consequence, Poland gives me new opportunities to self-realizing and helping people to create new projects together with our friendly family of Welcome Office.

As coordinator of Welcome Office I am ready and open to help every new student of our program.
